about project footlight

Project Footlight is a festival and network promoting collaboration and community among musical theater composers, lyricists, bookwriters, and directors in the New York City metropolitan area. Dixon Place sponsors the festival, which brings together a group of librettists and composers to create and produce a single musical in a week. Project Footlight also hosts a social network where NYC musical theater writers can find partners and directors, discuss projects, and promote their work.
